From naturally sourced fragrances to recyclable packaging to patent-pending fast-rinse technology, Love, Beauty and Planet is the ultimate environment-friendly personal care line from Unilever. Carrot Creative was in charge of the digital launch, so I was brought on to expand the website experience.

HELLO LOVE BEAUTY AND PLANET
I was tasked to design pages that encouraged people to explore the world of Love Beauty and Planet, Unilever’s first ethical beauty product line. First step was to bring to life the quality and low environmental impact of the ingredients in the products.
ROSES, SANDLEWOOD, YLANG YLANG, OH MY!
Love Beauty and Planet built each collection’s fragrance profile around ethically sourced essential oils and extracts. My goal was to elegantly introduce each scent through the lens of its origin and sourcing.
TRUST IN INGREDIENTS
Love Beauty and Planet wanted to show that they don’t use animal byproducts, parabens, or silicones. To accommodate for hundreds of ingredients, I organised them by product and then category.
Carbon conscious
Love Beauty and Planet is open about its carbon footprint, even placing a self-imposed carbon tax. Each year the brand will release its carbon footprint, which it aims to reduce by 20% by the year 2020.
